Rics Recruitment is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate professionals to join nursing homes across Ireland. We have multiple openings for roles including Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, and Support Staff to provide quality care to elderly residents and individuals with special care needs. Available Roles:
Nurses (Registered General Nurse)

Provide direct patient care, administer medications, and assist with medical procedures.
Develop and implement personalized care plans for residents.
Monitor patients’ health and communicate with family members and healthcare providers.
Healthcare Assistants (HCA)

Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
Assist nursing staff in monitoring patient health and ensuring a safe environment.
Support Staff (Housekeeping, Kitchen Staff, Maintenance)

Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in rooms and communal areas.
Kitchen Staff: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to residents, ensuring dietary needs are met.
Maintenance: Ensure the safety and functionality of the nursing home facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities (varies by role):

Ensure the well-being and comfort of residents at all times.
Follow individual care plans and work closely with the healthcare team.
Communicate with residents’ families, offering updates and support.
Adhere to safety and health regulations, following best practices in elderly care.
Maintain accurate records of care activities and medical updates.
Requirements:

For Nurses: Valid nursing license and registration with NMBI (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland).
For Healthcare Assistants: QQI Level 5 (or equivalent) in Healthcare Support.
Previous experience in elderly care or a nursing home environment is an advantage.
Compassionate, patient, and strong communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
