Job Description:
Rics Recruitment is seeking reliable and motivated Delivery Drivers to join a growing team, servicing clients across Ireland. The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of packages, parcels, and other goods to customers’ homes and businesses. If you have experience in delivery driving and excellent time management skills, this role is perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring goods are properly handled and secured.
Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules and avoid delays.
Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in excellent condition.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to provide delivery updates or address any issues.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of goods delivered.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Follow all road safety and traffic regulations to ensure the safe delivery of goods.
Handle returns or exchanges as necessary, ensuring proper documentation.
Provide exceptional customer service, including answering queries about deliveries.
Requirements:
Valid Irish driving license (B, C, or higher depending on vehicle type).
Proven experience as a delivery driver is preferred.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and follow directions.
Good knowledge of road safety regulations in Ireland.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Physically fit to handle loading/unloading tasks.
Flexible to work varying hours, including weekends and holidays.
